Pygmy Shrews

Amerikanische Noise Rock/Punk-Band aus New York City, bestehend anfänglich aus Ben Greenberg (f, vcl), Tia Vincent (e-b, vcl) und Jeremy Villalobos (dm). "Big Time" war wohl ein Demotape, gefolgt von der 7"-Single "Lord Got Busted/Kill Yourself" (Fan Death, 2009) und dem ersten Album "The Egyptian" (Wäntage, 2009).

2010 stand Villalobos im Verdacht, sexuelle Übergriffe getätigt zu haben. Für das zweite und letzte Album "You People Can All Go Straight To Hell" (Jack Shack, 2011) griff die Band auf Alexander Perrelli als Schlagzeuger zurück. Seither ist die Gruppe nicht mehr aktiv. 11/23
